Efficient Power
Efficiency and performance is what you can expect from all five Ford hybrid and electric models. The 2015 Ford Fusion Energi, 2015 Ford Fusion Hybrid, 2015 Ford C-MAX Energi and 2015 Ford C-MAX Hybrid all are powered by the 2.0 IVCT Atkinson-cycle 4-cylinder engine with a permanent-magnet AC-synchronous electric motor. When choosing between these models, the main difference you will see is the Lithium-ion battery. For the hybrid models, a 1.4 kWh Hybrid battery provides the power while a 7.6 kWh plug-in battery controls the Energi models. Select the 2015 Ford Focus Electric 5-Door Hatchback that features a 107 kW electric motor with a 23 kWh Lithium-ion battery and onboard charger. Another difference is that the 2015 Ford C-MAX models feature the e-CVT while the 2015 Ford Fusion models offer the CVT and the 2015 Ford Focus 5-Door Hatchback has a 1-speed automatic transmission.
