Black or chrome cab steps make getting in and out of the cabin a bit easier, while in back, tailgate steps do the same for getting in and out of the bed. King Ranch and Platinum trims get a luxury-themed exterior, including special trims, badging, and unique colour schemes - King Ranch has a western touch, while Platinum has an upscale urban feel.
Thanks to the Crew Cab, there is seating for five or six, depending on the layout chosen. Upholstery ranges from worksite-ready easy-clean vinyl, to comfortable premium cloth, all the way to high-quality leather. Passenger space is extensive, with around 1,000 millimeters of head room throughout the cab, and at least 1,700 millimeters of hip and shoulder room in every seating position. Heated seating and a heated, leather-wrapped steering wheel are available, perfect for cutting through the cold winter weather. When combined with optional remote start, this lets you get the truck nice and warm before you ever climb in. At the centre of the information and entertainment systems, and at the top of the centre console, is the available Ford SYNC system that combines the MyFord Touch advanced connectivity and the audio system. This allows for voice-activation and control, along with a suite of infotainment apps and programs. This is all displayed on an 8-inch colour LCD touch screen, and also has steering-wheel mounted controls. As with the exterior, King Ranch and Platinum trims receive special treatments, including unique seat stitching, materials, color choices and trim material inside, matching their individual themes.
